Out-of-Network and Private Pay Therapy

in Milwaukee, WI and Online

Feel calm, confident, and capable

again.

Therapy

paid

your way.

Services can be billed:

Private Pay

Prefer to not use your insurance coverage for your mental health care?

First sessions are 75 minutes and $275 due to the assessment needed to plan your care. Subsequent 45 minute sessions are $200 and are automatically billed.

Out-of-Network

Want to get reimbursed through OON insurance benefits?

Upon request, I will provide a Superbill (i.e., receipt) that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement based on your healthcare benefits.

Sliding Scale

Need an option that is budget-friendly but doesn't depend on insurance?

I value making my services accessible to all so have several sliding-scale spots available. We will work together to determine a feasible rate for you.

Out-of-network made

easy.

I partner with Mentaya to make using out-of-network benefits simple and streamlined.

Mentaya is a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. If you have out-of-network benefits, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed. They charge a 5% fee per claim and have helped people get thousands of dollars back per year.

Note: Mentaya's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as your therapist I do not benefit in any way from your participation.

Good Faith

estimate:

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
