We'll Likely Work Well Together If...
You’ve noticed your child having difficulties lately, but it is hard to understand why. Your child may start to have strong reactions to situations that may not seem like a big deal. Or perhaps your child is starting to doubt themselves and become guarded. Maybe you feel like your child is going to explode any minute now. You may start to notice a change in how they act at home, school, sport, with family and/or friends. Therapy with me can help provide reasonings behind your child’s behavior and emotions and understand where they are coming from. Most importantly, therapy can help them feel seen, heard, and understood.
What It's Like to Work Together
Therapy with me is based uniquely on each child’s needs. It may involve conversation but also games, play, creative activities, and other tools to help support your child in their growth. I use an active and collaborative approach in therapy, which allows us to work together to understand your child’s experience and explore what works best for your child. We may find creative ways to understand and express emotions, practice new skills, roleplay difficult situations - whatever is needed and beneficial for your child.. I believe every person in therapy deserves to have a voice, and I can’t wait to hear your child’s!

Note: As a student clinician, Aliana is ineligible for out-of-network reimbursement for most insurance companies. Contact your insurance company to see if you can submit out-of-network claims for student clinicians working under the license of a supervisor.
